Dear Colleague,
Investigative Radiology announces a special issue on ‘Quantitative Imaging’ scheduled for publication in early 2015. The focus of this special issue will be on substantial advances in the field of quantitative medical imaging, which seeks to quantify fundamental biologic and imaging-observable tissue properties.
This special issue will cover various modalities including magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), ultrasound, positron emission tomography (PET), and hybrid imaging. All organ and disease areas will be considered. Accepted manuscripts can involve either basic or clinical research and should advance our understanding of quantitative imaging as well as promote its clinical applications.
The deadline for submission is May 31, 2014.
Papers submitted after this deadline will not be considered. Manuscripts will be accepted for consideration for the issue two months in advance (April 1, 2014) of the deadline at the maximum, and not earlier. All papers will be subject to peer review by experts in the field and must comply with the Journal’s Instructions for Authors.
We look forward to receiving your submissions.
Best regards,
Stefan O. Schoenberg, MD, Editor, Special Issue
